As someone who works in the fashion industry I can't help but combine my passions and get way over excited when it comes to cool gymwear! Plain old boring black leggings and vest just don't get me hyped up and in the mood for a sweat-fest! Thats where fit-fashion comes in!
Thanks to social media, womens fitness has taken centre stage over the past few years and naturally with this so has the growth of the womens sportswear offering! Once hidden away in the back of a sportswear store, there are now hundreds of daring and fiesty brands on the market all fighting for fit-chicks hard earned cash!
Last year I came across one such brand on instagram:, ICAN IWILL. Founded in sweeden, ICAN IWILL started from a post it on the creator (Gustaf Ollas) mirror. The company ethos is all about making your dreams a reality through hard work and determination, with a belief that each and every individual can succeed, and with that ethos come some seriously cool gym leggings!
Having had bit of a break from my fitness regime I wanted to live up to the ICANIWILL ethos and earn myself some of their amazing leggings by getting my butt back in the gym and getting back into routine. Nothing like the thought of new gymwear to get you motivated!
After two months of drooling over their instagram feed and gradually getting myself back into the swing of things in the gym it was finally time to claim my prize! Although seriously tempted by the bright pink forrest & the pink leo print leggings, I played it safe with the Monochrome Splash Tights!
Although not cheap at 599SEK (approx £40) not only do the ICANIWILL tights look amazing, but the fit is incredible too! I went for a S which is equivalent to a size 10, I was a bit upset when they arrived as they felt super tight to get on due to the non-elastic stitching in the waistband, but once they're on they are a dream! Super stretchy, opaque, a good length in the leg (I'm 5ft 8!) and a nice high waistband with drawstring so no having to stop and pull them up during intense HIIT sessions!
I've been wearing them non-stop as they're just so cool and comfy! I can't wait to get some more!
